Our Policies

Please review our policies before placing an order

Ordering Policy

  • Orders must be placed at least 48-72 hours in advance for standard orders
  • Event orders (20+ guests) require at least 7 days advance notice
  • All orders are subject to availability
  • We reserve the right to substitute ingredients of equal or greater value based on availability
  • Custom or Add on requests should be noted at time of order and are accommodated when possible

Payment Policy

  • Payment for online purchases are due at the time it is ordered
  • We accept all major credit cards, Venmo, and PayPal
  • Event orders require a 50% deposit with the balance due before delivery
  • Gratuity is not included but always appreciated

Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • All purchases are non-refundable
  • If you need to cancel, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice and we will gladly issue store credit for a later date
  • To cancel, please email us at hello@olive-pearl.com and we will process your store credit
  • Orders canceled within less than 48 hours of the scheduled order time or date are not eligible for rescheduling or store credit

Delivery Policy

  • We deliver our boards throughout Mount Desert Island and surrounding off island communities
  • Delivery fees vary based on distance (this excludes subscription benefits)
  • An individual must be present to accept the delivery, as our boards must be refrigerated if they are not served immediately
  • Deliveries will arrive within a 30-minute window before or after the requested time
  • If there is any change in the schedule, we will reach out to confirm the recipient’s availability
  • If no one is present at the time of delivery, we are unable to leave the order at the door due to quality assurance standards
  • Please contact us as soon as possible if your schedule changes, and we will gladly do our best to accommodate you

Allergen Information

  • Our products contain common allergens including dairy, nuts, wheat, and shellfish
  • We prepare all items in a shared kitchen environment
  • While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free product
  • Please inform us of any allergies at time of order
  • We are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions when notified in advance

Privacy Policy

  • We collect personal information solely for order processing and communication
  • Your information is never sold to third parties
  • We may send occasional promotional emails (you can unsubscribe anytime)
  • Payment information is processed securely through our payment provider

Liability

  • Olive & Pearl is not responsible for illness resulting from improper storage of products after delivery
  • Customers assume responsibility for informing guests of potential allergens
  • By placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions
